Bible Reader, the verse does not mean money or such things.

It is talking only about God's Word.

Start at the first of Mark 4: 1-8 and read the parable of the sower.

Jesus is teaching a crowd and saying that some people hear or read the Word like seed falling on poor soil. It soon vanishes.

Other people hear or read the Word and it is like seed that falls on fertile soil. The Word (like the seed) takes root in their heart and grows and multiplies as good strong plant would.

So, in verse 25, he is saying that if you hear the God's word and accept it, it will be strong in you and you will hear more and more and grow more and more. But if one hears the word and does not take heed, it will wither away and he will know none of it.

I hope this can be understood.
