Dressing up or dress down when going to a Haitian church

I dress up and I also dress down. I don't go to a Haitian church right now, but I used you. I did not care to wear what I wanted to wear, and I usually sit in the front row where I can only focus on whoever is on the pulpit.

I did not care about what they were thinking about me or my family either, bc I was not there for them, but to listen to the word, sing, and participate in the service.

And it worked for me.
