Hello everyone, my name is Moises (Moses) from Guatemala and I am on my way to Haiti.
I am conviced God has a plan for Haitian people and I want to be part of it. My wife and children are praying for this trip. If you know any pastor that could be of assistance and guide me while there, that will be a blessing too. My E-mail addrees is we_pray33dc at hotmail.com At this point I am working hard to make contacts in Haiti, because I don't know anyone, but I am sure God has a plan and He will open doors for this job to get done. Thanks and God Bless you all.

The mission with which we have been working is Good Shepherd Ministries in Milot, Haiti and their website is http://www.gsmi-haiti.org.
This site can give you some ideas about what they do and how to get involved.
This mission is primarily a school for about 1500 students in 3 cities.
It is education oriented with the new vocational school and a college extension will start up next year.
The mission is usually in need of workers to do physical work on the facilities.
The mission provide facilities and support for several medical teams each year.
One does not need a medical education to work with the medical teams since they usually can use coordinators, etc., as they work with many hundreds of children over 10 day periods.
Another mission of which I am aware is Baptist Haiti Mission http://www.bhm.org/bhm/lang-en/home.html.
If you do not feel comfortable with Baptist missions, there are many others with sites on the web.
Please keep me posted if you follow up.

God bless you, Yolify.
I do not know much about the availability of an electronic Creole Bible there, but your idea sounds interesting.
It might be that that idea is being used. It certainly should be a great tool. It would seem that it might require much relatively expensive hardware, batteries, etc.
I have been wondering about simple wordless pictorial gospel tracts that could be passed out among the many that cannot read. I have thought of designing one. I have not been able to learn of their availability in Haiti.
There are many American missionaries in Haiti that invite people to come there for about ten days to experience the missionary work. You might be able to find something about it on the internet.
That is how I got involved.
God is working with you. God bless your compassion about the Haitian people.

Hi
I am a young Haitian-American Christian.
I live in Long Island.
I am very glad that there are people who are doing missionary work in Haiti.
I recently began thinking about an audio version of the Creole bible to help the iliterate.
I am very grateful.

Hello, are you Ingrid?
Yes, married 48 years with two married sons and four grandchildren.
We have been blessed.
Yes, I have been to the Citadelle twice.
It is certainly a magnificent structure and I weep for the frightened Haitians that had to build it in fear that Napoleon would attack.
It had to be very difficult.
But most of all my heart ached for the poor Haitians along the road up to the Citadelle.
Are you a new Christian?
I would love to hear your testimony about how you came to know the Lord. Would you share that?

hi Jack, do you know what "predecate" means now?
In case you don't, the writer meant "preach" or "speak".
