thanks for your kind replys and answers, all who have made me see the truth, as i was growing up, and to this day, i have always thought as God and Jesus as 2 seperate people, 2 different beings since God said he was sending his son, i guess that is where my confusion started.

Joe, God is one God, and He is in three forms (the trinity).
He is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit.
Think of water in three forms, water vapor, running water, and ice. Yet it is all water, but with three forms for specific reasons.
“No one has seen God (the Father)”, the bible tells us, so He came to earth in the form of Jesus, so we could know Him, and so He could die in our place for our sin debt. Jesus is God and was in the form of man so that we could experience God.
It is like our wanting to communicate with ants. We would have to become an ant to be able to communicate with them. God lowered Himself to walk among us.
When Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” (John 14:6, 7), He is saying that man cannot know God at all without receiving Jesus as his personal Savior.
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is our only justification and Way for approaching the Holy God. That is why we say, “In Jesus’ name we pray” when we talk to Father God.
When He left the earth, He sent the Comforter, the Holy Spirit (the third form of God), to live among us and within us. (Like water vapor which is all around us and inside of us).
Therefore God is with the believer to help him through life and to live as a Christian.
There are many false religions that claim that Jesus is not God and that we worship three Gods instead of one. They are counterfeits by satan.

Jesus christ is not God although a lot of people think so.
