There is no dress code to go to church.
But I beleive in being cleaned and well dressed wich mean for me wear clean clothes a pair of shiny shoes and shave( for men)
I don't dress like I am going to a fashion show or wedding or a party to go to church.
Every event got something different to wear. This is my opinion.

I don't think it is a requirement to always dress up to go to church.
It's not about how we dress when we go to church, it's all about your relationship with God..
Jesus said "come as you are"; even if a stripper comes to a church half naked; us christians, have no rights to prevent that person from enetering God's temple.
Maybe that's all she has to wear but she wants to turn her life around to God. After turning her life around, she will not dress like that anymore, she would cover up because she has became a better person.
The ones who are judging by what someone wears to go to church aren't better than you. Haitian church members need to start judging and critize other people by what they wear to church.
sispann fe jouda, si nou tap cheche prezans bondye le nou nan legliz, nou pa tap menm we sa fre a ou se a mete sou li.
That's why I love my pastor and my church.
everyone is welcome in our church> we are noto here to judge, we let God do the judging.
There isn't and shouldn't be a dress code in the haitian churches.
that's why the haitian churches are losing their youths or members to the american churches..
Trop jouda avek bagay ki pa nan bib goes down in the haitian churches..
yo rann lavi moun san souf...
Everyone is welcome to attend churches without a dress code...
Come as you are, Let God judge you; not humans.
we are all sinners..

i don't think, there should be a dress code or uniform that we have to wear when going to church.sa ke-m konnen ou pa kapab prezante devan bondie ninporte fason.mwen pa bezwen konnen ki sa-w mete sou ou men ou dwe abiye kom yon chretien.kouman fe se legliz ki pa gen impotans pou nou. nou vinn legliz nimporte fason...
min le nou pral nan club ou byen nou pral travay ou byen nou pral nan mariaj nou pran san nou poun abiye.se sak fe legliz jodia a perdu tout vale, nou chase lespri bondie nan legliz yo par fason nou trete legliz bondie.si jezu te sou la terre jounin jodia...
li tap chase nou ak kout baton menm jan li te chase moun ki tap fe biznis temple la nan tan lontan.
men li rezerve yon jou poul ka rankontre avek nou bann hypocrite

Don't do it. Represent yourself in style for the Lord.

Yes, you should be able to go to church as you please!
that is my take on it...
number one i dont think any one will have the audacity to tell you get out of the church because of the way you dress.or present yourself in the lord home..
The lord do not judge us on how we entered his kingdom, it is the human nature that puts certain regards to how we pray and how we enter the lord place...
2) if you looked back when Jesus and his followers looked how they used to dress i dont see any fency suits or dresses..
it was more like casual sandals and a robe..
so i dont get how people became judges overnight passing on judgement on how an individual dress to go to church..
and these same people who are been noisy on how about another individual dress, you can tell they are not here to pray the lord!
they are only in church to be the fashions Patrol...
sometimes i dress up to go to church and other times i dont..
it is not a requirement.
therefore if any one have a problem with how i go to church i will suggest that they approach me about it so i can give them a piece of my mine!!!!!

Don't get me wrong.
There is a matter of class and etiquette involved.
In the U.S. protocol, casual is the name of the game.

No we should not pay much attention to their statement or comments, it will teach them other wise .The reason for so much attention is because we paid good lissening to their critical lifeand comments.

Dear Woodring,
I admire you because you raise issues that others dare not raise.Depending on the situation you mentioned, I can understand.
You would have been welcome in my church, because we do not judge people by just what they wear.
However, Haitians dress that way (Their best) when going to church out of respect and reverence for God.
Let me explain: When we go to church, we believe that we are going in the presence of the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. Now, in your situation, maybe there was a lack of planning on your part.
Now, let's bring it home slowly and calmly; If you were invited to go and meet with a king, or even a president, how would you dress for that occasion?
Just be honest with your answer and you will have the answer to the issue that you raised.
If we show reverence, respect, honor toward a man, how much more should we show toward God?
God bless you, I enjoy receiving your emails and updates, I read almost all of them...
Have a bl
